Trim.pageAcceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) sets out conduct prohibited when using trim.page, and applies together with the Terms of Service.
1. General prohibited conduct
Users must not: register content that infringes a third party's copyright, trademark, publicity, or privacy rights; distribute phishing content, malware, or spam; link to fraud, gambling, or other illegal content; register content that defames, promotes hatred, or promotes violence; or engage in conduct that disrupts normal operation of the Service, such as mass automated requests.
2. No deceptive use
Users must not use the preview-editing feature (title, description, image) to deceive viewers by showing information that is clearly different from the actual destination content — for example, clickbait previews or disguising a malicious site as a legitimate one.
3. No use to bypass target-site protections
Users must not register content collected by bypassing measures the target (source) site has expressly blocked or prohibited in its terms — including bypassing bot-blocking or anti-crawling measures, bypassing login or payment authentication, or violating anti-scraping clauses. The Service is a layer for editing the presentation of content that a user owns, supplies, or can lawfully access — it is not provided as a means to bypass the source site's protective measures.
4. Enforcement
Where a violation is confirmed, the Service may block the link or move it to under-review status without prior notice, and may terminate the account for repeat violations. Detailed procedures follow the repeat infringer policy and takedown procedure in the Terms of Service.
